Do I Need a Male Thigh Lift?

Where is the Scar From Thigh Skin Removal After a Male Thigh Lift Surgery?

In the majority of cases, the scar will be hidden on the upper leg along the inner groin crease. This thigh scar is well hidden in shorts and swim trunks. In cases where skin needs to be removed further down the leg, an additional incision down inner thigh may be advised to achieve the optimal result. How is a Male Thigh Lift Performed?

Male thigh lift surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure under mild general anesthesia, generally lasting 2 hours. A male thigh lift is a two-step procedure. First, specialized high-definition liposuction using VASER liposuction is performed to remove excess fat and stimulate skin contraction. Second, loose and bulky thigh skin is removed to lift and contour the inner thigh. Following thigh skin removal, compression shorts are worn for several weeks to protect the incisions and minimize swelling while allowing a rapid return to basic activities. Initial mobility will be slow and somewhat limited though most patients are fully mobile in a few days. You may return to in-person work with light duty in about 1 week, but will need to refrain from exercise and strenuous activities for 6 weeks. Your procedure will provide immediate and permanent results that continue to improve throughout recovery.

Can Other Procedures Be Done at the Same Time as a Male Thigh Lift?

The male thigh lift procedure can be performed alone, but is often combined with other male chest and body procedures including male liposuction, gynecomastia excision, male tummy tuck and all other after weight loss procedures.
